When is the next Ryder Cup?

Where is the 2027 Ryder Cup?
In May 2025, it was announced that the 2027 Ryder Cup would be held at Adare Manor in Ireland.
The tournament will be held at Adare Manor in County Limerick, Ireland.
Adare Manor’s course, located along the banks of the River Meigs and extensively renovated in 2017, hosted the Irish Open in 2007 and 2008.
Adare Manor has also hosted the JP McManus Pro-Am in 2005, 2010 and 2022.
Has Ireland ever hosted the Ryder Cup before?
This is the second time that Ireland has hosted the competition, following 2006.
That year the European team, captained by Ian Woosnam, beat the United States 18.5-9.5 at The K Club in County Kildare.

How does qualification work?
Team Europe and Team USA have not yet announced their 2027 Ryder Cup qualifying schedules.
What is the format of the Ryder Cup?
There are 28 matches played over three days, with three types of match play: Foursomes, Fourball, and Singles.
foursome It sees two golfers from Europe competing against one golfer from the United States, with the team members taking turns hitting shots and each team using one ball. Four games will be played on Friday morning and four games will be played on Saturday morning.
four ball You’ll also see two golfers from each team competing, but each player uses his or her own ball. The lowest score in each group is calculated as that team’s score. There will be four four-ball matches each afternoon for the first two days.
