
Leigh Wood claimed a unanimous decision win over Josh Warrington in front of his hometown supporters at the Nottingham Arena.
The former world champions are set to rematch after previously fighting in 2023.
Wood came from behind to win their first match and repeated his win over his rivals when they clashed on Saturday.
The Nottingham fighter did not record another stoppage, but dominated the proceedings, earning a unanimous decision.
Wood won 117-111, 119-110, 119-109. “I worked hard for this and my team worked hard for it,” Wood said.
“We’re not going to make a decision tonight, but if this is the final decision, it’s going to be a really tough fight.”
