Leigh Wood claimed a unanimous decision win over Josh Warrington in front of his hometown supporters at the Nottingham Arena.
The former world champions are set to rematch after previously fighting in 2023.
Wood came from behind to win their first match and repeated his win over his rivals when they clashed on Saturday.
The Nottingham fighter did not record another stoppage, but dominated the proceedings, earning a unanimous decision.
Wood won 117-111, 119-110, 119-109. “I worked hard for this and my team worked hard for it,” Wood said.
“We’re not going to make a decision tonight, but if this is the final decision, it’s going to be a really tough fight.”

He won a level 114-114 majority decision on one card over Davis after 12 rounds, but won by scores of 115-114 and 115-113 on the other two judges.

Ryan took part in the battle with Zamora and was level 95-95 with one of the judges after 10 rounds. However, Ryan defeated the other two officials 97-93 to capture the WBC super lightweight title.
