Keeps your food hot and delicious! I purchased the 12oz version and the build quality is typical HydroFlask. It’s not cheap, but you get what you pay for.
The test is as follows: Preheat an insulated food container by pouring 12 ounces of boiling water. After 5 minutes, I drained the water and poured in 12 oz of bubbling hot stew. I closed the bottle and placed it in a neoprene lunch bag for 4 hours. After four hours, the temperature of the stew was 130 degrees Fahrenheit. It is the same temperature as a medium rare steak.I found this impressive because it’s difficult to keep such a small portion (12 ounces) hot for several hours.
It’s well made and a good size. We bought two and loved them for breakfast while volunteering on the trails. Maintains food temperature and is easy to clean. Much better than plastic containers.
