I have an older model of this machine, and honestly, I think it’s great to be able to keep it around! You never know when you’ll need to clean up a mess or spill, and it’s removed quite a few things from my carpets. I would say it works best on a fresh mess rather than one that has been there for a while. I love a good carpet cleaning device and have tried a few, but the cordless aspect of this product is a game changer. Of course, small messes started to get overlooked in our house because no one wanted to take out the vacuum cleaner. Cleaning required mixing a solution, plugging it in, and the slightly tedious process of cleaning the device.
Because it’s pre-filled with solution, it takes the same amount of time to grab a pet eraser, spray the mess, scrub, suction, and then quickly rinse the waste chamber as it would to clean by hand. The only difference is that the pet eraser removes better and stains disappear completely, even on light-colored surfaces (I have a white sofa and a cream rug).
