The survey found that almost one in three Scottish consumers have had a beef burger that was pink or had pink juice.

Food Standards Scotland (FSS) said the results highlight potentially dangerous habits as the barbecue season begins. The FDA urges people to use a meat thermometer to ensure pork, poultry and ground meat reach 167°F (75°C).
