In court documents seen by the BBC, Ver Ver Entertainment claimed that Kingston contacted the company via social media in September 2023 to purchase a “232-inch Colossal TV coupled with a powerful sound system.”
The company alleges that Mr. Kingston “induced” it to install the product with “as small a down payment as possible” by making “numerous false statements,” including an offer to make a promotional video for the company with Justin Bieber.
After installation, the company said Kingston had not paid the remaining fees and sued him for breach of contract and fraud.
A lawyer for Ver Ver Entertainment told Miami's Local 10 news that the company was hoping to retrieve it from the home after the police raid.
“We know that our property is right here in this house, so as soon as the raid happens we will get people there to reassemble it and return it to its rightful owners.”
