Senior PGA Championship: Padraig Harrington Passed Angel Cabrera Rallies | Golf news

Angel Cabrera won the second senior major a week and shot 69 years of age on Sunday and won one stroke in the senior PGA Championship.

In 2007, Cabrera, the US Open and 2009 Masters Champion, won the Rain-Delayed Regions Tradition, the first Argentina senior major in Alabama on Monday.

Six days later, in Congress, he rolled from 14 long birdie putts and followed Padraig Harrington with two stroke.

But Harrington is Double Bogeyed No. 15, Cabrera abandoned the hall after a while. After finishing the Bogey by Harrington, the 18th par 4 par, Cabrera only needed a closing bogey.

Cabrera spent 20 months in Argentina prison for threatening all partners.

He was released as a parole in August 2023 and won the PGA Tour Champion Event before he missed the cut last month.
