The UK has announced a social media ban for children under 16. British politicians said they would provide an update in July on further restrictions, such as a potential curfew and curbs on “addictive” features such as infinite scrolling and AI chatbots.
The BBC spoke to Americans of different ages about the British ban and whether they would support a similar ban in the United States.
