Sports Interactive announced that the 2025 of the popular game soccer managers has been canceled.
The company originally aimed to be launched in early November, but it was pushed back a month after citing the “challenging” development cycle. Then an additional delay was announced in October, but now it has completely pulled the plug on this year.
Sports Interactive said that anyone who originally wanted to claim a refund for pre -orders could do so.
Fans of the game now have to wait until the next release. The company says that you are doing “all effort” to get live.
The statement said, “I found out that the sports conversation regret has made a difficult decision to cancel the football manager 25 and change the focus with the next release according to a wide range of internal discussions and prudent considerations with SEGA.
“Thank you for your trust and support for many people who pre -order FM25.
“We know that this is a great disappointment, given that this has already moved twice and we are eager to release the first gameplay.
“We can only apologize when we take this decision. Today was the fastest date to issue this statement.
“We are proud to convey the best value for money games that always bring a lot of time. A generation of series has a building block for a new era.
“We have solved the FM25 in the present state and can fix the work under the line. But that’s not the right thing. We also did not go beyond the march when we were too late in the soccer season. I expect to buy another game.
“Through the cancellation, all efforts focus on achieving our goals and emphasizing the quality level we expect. I will update it. “
The FM25 was the first edition of the series using a new Unity game engine, and women’s football was also introduced in the game for the first time.
