Soft handmade cats cover recipes.

My family has a healthy and all foods. Why aren’t the pets the same? For my children, pets are truly part of the family. It was their thoughts to make dog snacks made at home for our dogs. And now they wanted to make homemade cat snacks for cats, Penelope and tigers (“fairly”).

Like a dog snack we made for Daisy, this handmade snack contains healthy ingredients that cats like. They are easy to make and store really well in the fridge. Cats don’t seem to care if we don’t heat it before we give them one.

This snack is part of the natural cat management and the overall alternative that we use to keep our fur friends healthy. Remember that they are snacks, but are not replacements.

Handmade cat treatment: What you need

There are many ways to create this recipe. I would like to hear how to adapt to pets. What we used and why is:

Coconut oil

Coconut oil is a certain necessity in our house for both humans and pets. For cats, it is an excellent source of healthy fat, especially in the middle chain fatty acids that support digestion and healthy skin. Coconut oil is used for this handmade snack because it has natural antibacterial and antifungal agents.

Cats are naturally predothancede, so the system is designed for fat -based energy. Coconut oil adds nutrients that mimic natural fat from wild food.

Coconut powder

Coconut powder is one of your favorite grain alternatives when you bend your family. So it was reasonable to use some snacks for our cats. It is high in fiber, soft digestion, and does not use grain, and everything is helped to keep everything together. It also goes well with coconut oil and eggs, creating a tender texture that cats love.

Sweet potato

Cats do not need carbohydrates, but sweet potatoes add extra nutrients, especially vitamin A and fiber. It also provides a soft and soft foundation for snacks. Moderately used can be a good way to add diversity and soft texture.

Gelatin powder

I use gelatin for homemade recipes from marshmallow to Gumi. Good for pets. Gelatin is rich in amino acids such as glycine and prolin, which supports healthy skin, fur and joints. I like to keep budget -friendly using bulk grass gelatin, but clean gelatin is effective. It also helps to tie snacks and gives a tough texture that cats enjoy.

Tuna (or sardines)

If you are suspicious, tuna is always a hit! Most cats cannot resist it. Canning, such as tuna and sardines, is not only rich in protein, but also full of omega -3 fatty acids that support brain, skin and coat health. Sarde is the most favorite in my house. They are small, low mercury and full of nutrients.

egg

Eggs are a complete protein source and is full of healthy fat and fat soluble vitamins. I use them for homemade pet treatment recipes. Because they add a big nutritious boost, it helps everything to hold together. If a cat can withstand eggs, they are a simple and cheap way to add some nutrition.

I baked it on a baking sheet with natural parchment to avoid sticking. They keep them in the glass bottle of the refrigerator.

Handmade cat treatment

  • Peel, peel the cube, and cook until the sweet potato is soft.

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

  • Mix all the ingredients in the middle size bowl. Use the fork to crush everything together until it is mixed evenly.

  • Add some coconut powder if the dough is needed to obtain almost consistent dough.

  • Put it in a one -inch ball and crush it with a fork to form a small “cookie”. I used my fingers to create a footprint.

  • Bake for 20 minutes or lightly brown.

  • Remove from heat and cool it completely.

Luxury cat food

Many have asked what cat food we use. I tried other brands over the years and even experimented with ourselves. Ultimately, I prefer to leave this in the hands of experts. We now alternate between cat foods that do not have various grains (wet, never dry).
