England's Charlie Hull is the first European team to make a fresh start in Solheim Cup history when he partners with rookie Esther Henseleit in the opening foursomes match on Friday.
Suzann Pettersen's Hull are set to make it seven successive European appearances as they look to secure an unprecedented 'quadruple-winning run' after back-to-back title wins in 2019 and 2021, as well as defending the trophy in dramatic fashion last year.
World number 12 Henseleit, who qualified after finishing runner-up at the ISPS Handa Women's Scottish Open a week after winning Olympic silver in Paris, will face world number ones Nelly Korda and Alisen Korfuz at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Club at 7.05am local time (12.05pm BST).
Korda and Korfuz have formed a strong partnership heading into Spain in 2023, winning their opening foursomes match as part of Team USA's session sweep on Day 1, and both players will be eager to help the U.S. win its first Solheim Cup title since 2017.
Celine Boutier, the highest-ranked player on the European team, will also be paired with Alban Valenzuela, who will make her Solheim Cup debut, and the pair will face Rose Zhang and Lauren Coughlin in the second game of the session at 7:17 am (12:17 pm BST).
Emily Pedersen and Maja Stark played together in the fourball at Finca Cortesín last year, but will be competing in the opening foursomes against Allie Ewing and Jennifer Kupcho, who are making their fourth consecutive Solheim Cup appearance.
European veteran Carlota Ciganda, who recorded a 100% record on home soil in the last tournament, will play Friday's foursomes with Sweden's Lynn Grant, who will face world number two Lilia Bou and debutant Sarah Schmelzel.
Leona Maguire is not playing a session for the first time in her Solheim Cup career, having scored a top scorer of 4.5 in her debut in 2021 and 3 in 2023. Georgia Hall, Anna Nordqvist and Madelin Sagstrom are the other three players not including Pettersen.
The four Americans Stacy Lewis did not include in her Friday morning lineup are Megan Kang, Allison Lee, Andrea Lee and Lexi Thompson, the only American player on the team who was part of the team's last victory in 2017.

1205 Nelly Korda and Alison Coppuz vs Charlie Hull (UK) and Esther Henseleit (GER)
1217 Rose Zhang and Lauren Coughlin vs Alban Valenzuela (Suey) and Celine Boutier (France)

How does this format work and what happens next?
There are 28 matches over three days, three different types of match play (foursomes, fourball, singles), with each match worth one point added to the team total. Foursomes is a match where two European golfers compete against an American pair, with team shots alternating and each team using one ball.
Fourball action begins at 12:05pm (5:05pm BST) on both Friday and Saturday, with 15 minutes between each game. Fourball also features two golfers from each team competing using their own balls. The lowest score from each pair counts as the score for that team.
Tee times for Saturday's foursomes will be the same as Friday's, but all 24 players will be playing in Sunday's singles. The first singles match will start at 1:50pm on Sunday, and the last of the 12 matches will start at 3:40pm BST.
The team that scores 14.5 points or more over three days wins the Solheim Cup, with a European team taking home the trophy again if the tournament ends in a 14-14 draw.
