Spotify is updating the features so that the AI DJ can change the atmosphere of the playlist by requesting music or using voice commands to make the AI DJ feel more conversation. The company launches this feature that is supported only in English in more than 60 markets for premium subscribers.
So far, you have been able to listen to the AI DJ with the comment between them. The company is now adding interactive elements to this function.
The user can now instruct the AI DJ to change the mood or genre or play the tracks of a specific artist.
The user can search the AI DJ on the search bar and press the DJ button at the bottom right to create a request through the voice command. You can quickly press the DJ button to change the feeling of the playlist without a specific request.
SPOTIFY first started its AI DJ in the United States and Canada in February 2023. The company later launched worldwide in August 2023. Last year, Music Streaming Company added support for AI DJs in Spanish.
With the company’s other large AI features, you can create a playlist using the text prompt.
