St. Helens confirmed that the “terror threat” sent to the Instagram account was to leave Hull Kr’s Seel Group Craven Park under the police escort on Saturday.

St. Helens was escorted by the stadium after the club described it as “terror threat.”

When the players and staff left the ground, the police were standing near the team coach. Club’s 20-12 Super League semi-final playoff defeat.

The club’s statement says, “You can see that yesterday, ST HELENS RUGBY Club is investigating the malicious communication case reported (Saturday, October 4).

“At 6:45 pm, we received a report that the club had a threat from a social media account while the club played in Hull.

“Police officers have inquired and confirmed that it is a scam. After the game, he was relieved to the squad before leaving the ground.”

The police officers stood outside the coach for the players and employees, and eight cordons were stationed around the coach.

Tim bus was escorted by police when leaving the stadium.

The club spokesman said at a press conference after the match: “The club sent a terror threat to the Saints’ Instagram account.

“It was reported to the St. Hel lens ground safety officer and they talked with Hull Kr’s ground safety officer. They treat them as seriously as possible.”
