PA mediaKeir Starmer is expected to announce the British recognition of Palestinian countries in a statement on Sunday afternoon.
The prime minister said in July that the British will change its position in September unless the British agrees with the ceasefire of the Gaza in September and devotes to a long -term sustainable peace contract that provides a two -country solution.
This indicates the major changes in British foreign policy after saying that the government should be recognized as part of the peace process.
The movement led to fierce criticism from the Israeli government, hostage family and some conservatives.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that that movement was “rewarded terror” before.
But British ministers argued that they have moral responsibility to act to maintain the hope of the long -term peace agreement.
Government sources say the situation on the ground has worsened over the last few weeks. They quoted the image of hunger and violence in Gaza, which the prime minister previously described as “unbearable”.
In the Gaza City, which the UN official described as “Cataclysm”, Israel’s latest ground operations forced hundreds of thousands of people to run away.
Earlier this week, according to the discipline of the UN investigation, Israel urged massacre of Gaza’s Palestinians, and Israel accused Israel as “distortion and false”.
The ministers also emphasized the continuous expansion of Israeli settlement at the Occupied West Bank, which was illegally occupied in accordance with international law.
In July, the Foreign Minister David Lammy, the Attorney General, cited the E1 settlement project, which is controversial that critics warn when the recognition was announced.
“The perception of Palestinian countries is the result of a serious expansion we see in Westbank, the intentions and signs of E1 development that operates coaches and horses through the possibilities of the settlers we see in Westbank, for example, two weeks solutions.”
Palestinian authorities Mahmud Abbas welcomed the British recognition pledge earlier this month, and Dowing Street agreed that HAMAS did not play any role in Palestine’s future governance.
Conservative Kemi Badenoch said he wanted to see two weeks in the Middle East.
But as she wrote on the whole body during the weekend, she said:
Meanwhile, on Saturday, some hostage families taken by Hamas in the public letter urged not to step up until the remaining 48 prime ministers were still alive.
The announcement of the coming recognition wrote, “We have made extremely complex efforts to bring loved ones home.” “Hamas has already congratulated British decisions and reconstructed the ceasefire contract.”
According to government sources, the ministers said they would set the next step to sanction Hamas in the next few weeks.
During his visit to England this week, US President Donald Trump also said he did not agree with recognition.
Keir set the deadline for the UN General Assembly this week. This week, Israel said, “We tried to revive the prospects of the 2-state solution by taking practical measures to end the terrible situation of Gaza, agreed to the ceasefire and devoted to long-term and sustainable peace.”
He spoke in July and said, “I will always recognize the Palestinian state as a contribution to the appropriate peace process at the moment of the maximum influence on the two national solutions.
“This solution is threatened, this is the moment to act.”
Many other countries, including Portugal, France, Canada and Australia, will recognize Palestinian countries. Spain, Ireland and Norway said they stepped on last year.
Palestinians are currently recognized by about 75%of the 193 UN member countries, but there are no internationally agreed boundaries, capital and army, and are greatly iconic.
Two weeks solutions refer to the creation of the Palestinian countries in Westbank and Gaza Strip, and the East Jerusalem is used as the capital. Israel is currently occupying both West Bank and Gaza. This means that the Palestinian authorities are not completely controlled by the land or people.
Recognizing Palestinian countries has long been the cause of advocacy by many people in the Labor Party. The PM is putting pressure on Israel, especially from the MP on the left side of the party.
Just before his speech in July, more than half of the Labor Party MPs signed a letter that demanded the government to immediately recognize the Palestinian state.
EPABut critics seemed to have a condition in Israel, but Hamas raised the question of presenting a way to recognition.
Sir Ephraim Mirvis urged the government to suspend the decision with the government.
“The intended recognition does not depend on the functional or democratic Palestinian government and even despite the most basic dedication to the peaceful future,” he said.
“Surprisingly, if the 48 hostages are released, the conditional is not a condition.”
Government sources agreed to the ceasefire, insisting that Hamas would release hostages.
But the Ministry of Foreign Affairs claimed that the state was the right of the Palestinians and the government could not rely on Hamas, which is seen as a terrorist organization.
When he hosted President Trump on Thursday, Keir said that Hamas said in the future Palestinian countries.
The Israeli troops began the unprecedented Hamas -led attack on southern Israel on October 7, 2023, with about 1,200 deaths and 251 hostages.
According to the territory of the territory, at least 64,964 people were killed by Israeli attacks.
