Stowaway caught on flight from New York to Paris

A TSA spokesperson told CNN the woman bypassed two identity verification and boarding status stations before boarding the plane.

A spokeswoman said she was not carrying any prohibited items.

“Nothing is more important than safety and security issues,” Delta said in a statement to CBS. “That is why Delta will conduct a thorough investigation into what occurred and will work with other aviation stakeholders and law enforcement to do so.”

A social media video posted by a passenger shows the moment the captain announced that authorities were waiting to remove the woman from the plane.

In the video, the captain says, “Guys, this is the captain. We’re waiting for the police to come on board.” “They may be here now and they have instructed us to get everyone on the plane until we can clear any additional passengers on the plane.”

CBS News reported that the person was a woman, but the person’s identity has not been confirmed.

Rob Jackson, a passenger on the plane, told The New York Times that the trip had been normal until the descent process began and the flight attendant’s intercom rang repeatedly.

“I fly a lot and it’s unusual for something like this to happen when I land,” Mr Jackson said.

He said once the plane landed, the captain instructed passengers to remain in their seats until the situation was resolved.

Mr Jackson said six or seven officers were on the plane and overheard a flight attendant saying a woman had gone from one bathroom to another during the flight.
