Researchers have explained how climate change can affect salmonella and antimicrobial resistance.
Scientists analyzed more than 236,700 Salmonella genomes from 139 countries or regions from 1940 to 2023. They chose average annual temperature and precipitation as indicators of climate change. Future antimicrobial resistance genetic trends have been predicted until 2100.
