Four listeria outbreaks in Italy have infected more than 200 people and killed 12, according to new research information.
These listeriosis outbreaks were investigated in 2022 and 2023. Three cases were associated with meat products and one was associated with vegetables. Related items were chicken and turkey frankfurters, mortadella, porchetta, and black olives.
