Brogan Haye opened the scoring and Leo Hardy doubled the lead just before kick-off. Hearts had a strong start to the season but failed to make a big impact in the competition.

Saoirse Noonan’s hat-trick gave defending champions Celtic another win at Links Park.
The striker opened the scoring when Maria McAneney netted her second, with Noonan adding a second just before the break.
Alma Cordegoni scored for Montrose after just 60 minutes, while Louise Brown also netted for the home side.
Celtic ended the game easily when Noonan scored the fourth goal.
The two teams face each other again on Sunday, this time in the second round of the Sky Sports Cup.

Kara Henderson opened the scoring 14 minutes from time and Rosie Slater added her second minutes later.
Teasle was awarded a penalty just before the break, with Henderson’s shot blocked before hitting the bar when she attempted again.
Lucy Sinclair added a third before Tyree Burchill fired a low shot into the top corner to seal a convincing win.

Spartans claimed their first home win of the season with a 3-1 win over Aberdeen to move clear of the relegation zone.
Olivia Chomczuk scored the first goal and Erin Rennie added the second before the break. Kate Fraser added the third in the second half.
The visitors were awarded a penalty with 10 minutes left in regulation time, which Hannah Stewart converted.
