Symbyai, a SaaS platform that uses AI to simplify scientific research, announced a $ 2.1 million seed round with the participation of Drive Capital and Caractervc.
The platform, which began with Ashia Livaudais and Michael House last year, provides a systematic work space for researchers to access papers, code, data and experience in one place. It helps to track progress and has AI functions that support fellow review and replication.
Livaudais said, “Symbyai is based on an exclusive AI solution, so users don’t have to worry about sending confidential information to Openai, Anthropic or other companies. The researcher’s intellectual property remains as the owner’s property and is not used to train Symbyai’s basic models.
Livaudais said he started his company after dealing with an old -fashioned system that reviewed and created science.
“Symby’s foundation was formed by creating a solution to the problem I face every day, and I realized that my colleagues in the research community were looking for a solution to the same problem. “When we realized that we could successfully shorten the important research process, the demand for the product version began to come out of almost all the discovery dialogue.”
Symbyai cooperates with academic publishers, research organizations and universities. Livaudais said he first participated in the GBETA program, part of General, and met with investors. Livaudais was connected to the first investors, including Antler, through the GBETA program, and Livaudais gained the opportunity early by investing in Symby in the pre -seed round.
The company now plans to continue to build a company using Fresh Seed Capital and implement its initial partnership.
