Target Circle Week – Everything You Need to Know
Target is known for their Circle Week sale in early October, often considered the pre-Black Friday sale. You can always find some great deals, and Target often offers impressive gift card promotions with purchases. But this year, it looks like we’ll see even bigger discounts and a wider selection of products!
Target says it will offer its biggest holiday sale ever this year, including thousands of exclusive and on-trend items, plus more deals and ways to save.
“Consumers are gearing up for one of the most exciting times of the year, so we’re leaning into the magic of Tarzhay more than ever, delivering the variety of products, value and experiences only Target can offer,” Rick Gomez, Target’s executive vice president and chief commercial officer, said in a press release from the retailer. “From exclusive items available only at Target, to the return of Target Circle Week and incredible savings every day, our plans are unmistakably Target, adding even more sparkle and joy to the holidays.”
Unlike Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days sale, which requires shoppers to pay for a Prime membership to shop, Target Circle is completely free to join. There are paid membership levels (more on that below), but you don’t have to be a paid member to shop this sale.

Introducing Target Circle
You can check out our full guide to Target Circle here. To make it easy to understand, Target Circle is basically a free rewards program that gives shoppers access to exclusive deals (like Target Circle Week) and free rewards points and other perks when they make a purchase.
Earlier this year, Target launched Target Circle 360, a paid tier of its Target Circle membership. Target Circle 360 offers shoppers a number of perks and benefits, but you don’t need this tier to shop Target Circle Week.
But during Circle Week, you don’t have to worry about applying a promo code to your cart at checkout. Target Circle members (in-store and online) will automatically receive the discount at checkout.
