When was the last time you remember doing something for the first time? (It’s supposed to be a hipster scale for measuring how much fun you’re having in life and I use it occasionally to evaluate my life, especially when I know for sure that something I’ve done fits that bill 😛) This was my first time wearing something from the Tarun Tahiliani collection to the Tarun Tahiliani boutique opening party!
The first time I actually did anything with the TT brand was at the Tarun Tahiliani Bridal Couture event in 2012. At first, photography was not even allowed. Then I snuck in, grabbed Tarun, and cheekily asked him if I could take some pictures of the setup. He gave me a puzzled smile and motioned for me to go right ahead. This photography feature eventually became quite popular on my wedding photography blog and I have since moved it to Naina.co.
When PR Pundit contacted me at the launch of their flagship store at Qutab Garden in Mehrauli, they asked me how to make the magic happen and I ended up choosing ready-to-wear pieces from Tarun’s Autumn/Winter 2016/17 collection. I wore it to an event and caught Tarun’s attention! He complimented me on my hair and shoe choice (#GameSetBecker white sneakers from Puma) and luckily I wasn’t shy and asked him to take a picture with me! (And I had a baraat in my hand to take that photo too!)
The clutch was incredibly beautiful. Thank goodness it’s in a glass case because so many of us were completely distressed. (You can click on any image to see a larger, better quality version!)

Lovely evening too. Fortunately, the weather in Delhi is still conducive to enjoying an evening soiree outdoors. Thank you for having Tarun and thank you to Naintara and PR Pundit for fixing everything in such a short amount of time! I love the ensemble!
