The ‘love story’ between music megastar Taylor Swift and three-time Super Bowl champion Travis Kelce continued Friday night as they tied the knot in a star-studded ceremony at New York’s iconic Madison Square Garden.
Actor and comedian Adam Sandler married 14-time Grammy Award winner Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Kelce in front of 1,000 guests, and Swift’s publicist Tree Paine confirmed the nuptials.
Kelce had his brother Jason, a former Philadelphia Eagles center, as his best man.
A sign outside reads “JUST&T MARRIED!” Despite the heat and the lack of sight of the stadium, fans flocked to MSG and felt a part of the action after the event.
Celebrities including golfer Justin Thomas, actors Hugh Grant, Jennifer Lawrence and Jason Sudeikis, singers Ed Sheeran and Camila Cabello, and TV host and comedian Graham Norton have been spotted in Manhattan.
Kelce and Swift’s romance has captivated NFL and music fans alike since they began dating in 2023, and Swift has attended several NFL games where Kelce has played.
Kelce quashed retirement speculation when he signed a new contract with the Chiefs in March of this year, keeping him with the franchise for at least one more season.
He wrote on Instagram at the time: “Chiefs Kingdom, let’s go! It’s official, looking forward to 2026 and excited to wear a Chiefs uniform in front of you all again.”
