The National Testing Agency (NTA), which conducts NEET, defended the Telegram ban as being imposed in response to the “systematic use of the platform by trickery to defraud candidates”, but acknowledged it could cause “inconvenience” to users who rely on Telegram for “legitimate personal, educational, professional and informational purposes”.
