The BBC reported mass shootings on the border between Israel and Lebanon.

In Metula, a small Israeli town just next to the Lebanese border, BBC journalist Jon Donnison heard what sounded like an all-out gunfight just a kilometer or so away.

For ten minutes, machine gun fire echoed across the valley, interspersed with what sounded like artillery fire. The Israeli military says it is working to drive out Iranian-backed Hezbollah rebels from southern Lebanon.
