
Volcanoes Safaris has released a new expert chimpanzee safari that combines KIBALE FOREST and Kyambura Gorge, two unique wild biological ecosystems in Uganda.
The eight -day safari schedule features three nights in the newly opened Kibale Lodge and Kyambura Gorge Lodge, and focuses on the meeting of chimpanzees in the two most important habitats in Africa.
Kyambura Gorge is portrayed by the “magical sinking rainforest” of an isolated community composed of 33 chimpanzees led by an alpha man named Mweya. KIBALE FOREST hosts more than 1,500 chimpanzees and is recognized as one of Africa’s best regions for chimpanzee watching.
Activities include KIBALE FOREST’s Chimpanzee habitual experience, bird observation in Kyambura wetlands and annual surveys of Kyambura Lion Monitoring Project. In addition, please visit the RWenzori Sculpture Foundation and the company’s partnership with raw scholars of KIBALE Chimpanzee Project, Fireside chat, and Rwenzori Sculpture Foundation, which supports Ugandan artists, and supports Ugandan artists.
The program includes preservation and participation in community projects operated by Volcanoes Safaris Partnership Trust. Guests have an opportunity to interact with experts in partner organizations, including Jane Goodall Institute.
