The Italian Museum filmed hundreds of shiny crystals and broke a chair -covered chair and called for the supporters to “respect art.”
The video released by Palazzo Maffei in Verona shows a man and a woman taking pictures of each other while pretending to sit in the so -called “Van Gogh” chair.
Then the man slides and appears to fall into the chair, and crush it under it.
Officials say that the couple ran away from the museum before knowing what happened.
They later informed the police about unknown pairs.
The Vanessa Carlon Museum said, “Sometimes we lose our brain to take pictures and don’t think about the consequences.
“Of course it was an accident, but these two left without telling us. It is not an accident.” “This is the nightmare of all museums.”
The BBC understands that this incident occurred in April. Palazzo Maffei released a video on June 12.
The chair was built by Italian artist Nicola Bolla and made of swarovski crystals made of stylish machine cut glass. It was named after the Dutch artist’s simple chair of the Dutch artist, named after Vincent Van Gogh.
Bolla’s work is somewhat valuable in that the museum did not provide the estimates of its value when the BBC requested.
Carlotta menegazzo, an art history headquartered in Palazzo Maffei, looks strong, but most of the frame is empty and maintained with foil.
Menegazzo said, “It is clear that the chair has a note that warns people not to touch it, and of course, because it is placed on the pedestal, it is not a real chair.
Two legs and main seats were broken, but Menegazzo was carried out to restore this work and now in place.
Palazzo Maffei opened in 2020 and exhibited 650 works, including Picasso’s paintings and ancient Egyptian art.
Carlon hopes that most visitors will be thoughtful and the release of CCTV images will not be “negative episodes”.
Instead, she wants to emphasize, “Everyone should enter more and more respect whenever art is displayed in art places, museums, or churches.”
“Art is very weak, so you have to respect and love,” she adds.
