The federal judge ruled on Thursday that a lawsuit could be made to prevent the government’s efficiency nation from getting records of millions of Americans.
Along with the privacy watch dogs, the Electronic Frontier Foundation and two trade unions, more than 100 current and former federal employees sued Doge, US HR Management Bureau (OPM) and ELON Musk in February.
The government rejected it, but on Thursday, the judge refused to agree.
This lawsuit tries to block OPM’s disclosure of records as well as the agent of Doge. It also wants to return the already shared information. This decision does not mean that the litigation itself will win the plaintiff, but it can be done.
