Irish police said in northern Dublin that a man was arrested after the “serious incident.”
The PA News Agency reported that some people were believed to have been stabbed during the incident.
The man was arrested in the city’s Stoneybatter area on Sunday and is currently detained at the police station.
The police remain in the field, but “there is no continuous risk to the public.”
