The moment the crew docks at the International Space Station

Four astronauts docked with the International Space Station (ISS) after launching from Earth last Friday.

The crew is scheduled to stay on the ISS for eight months after replacing the team that was evacuated last month due to a medical accident.

Aboard the SpaceX Dragon spacecraft traveling to the ISS were NASA astronauts Jessica Meir and Jack Hathaway from the United States, European Space Agency astronaut Sophie Adenot from France, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Andrey Fedyaev from Russia.

The four are known as Crew-12 because they constitute SpaceX’s 12th manned rotary flight to the International Space Station.
