Grouping and tee times for round 2 of the 154th Open at Royal Birkdale, Southport, Merseyside.

This week a record crowd gathered for the final men’s major of the year as Scottie Scheffler returned as the defending champion and is looking to become the first man to win back-to-back The Open since Padraig Harrington.

Scheffler, along with Tyrell Hatton and Bryson DeChambeau, will be trying to avoid missing another major cut on Friday afternoon while Rory McIlroy sits on the other side of the draw.

McIlroy leaves at 10:09 a.m. along with Ryder Cup teammates Matt Fitzpatrick and Xander Schauffele. The Northern Irishman is looking to win his second title at The Open and end his major season on a winning note.

Matches begin at 6:35 a.m. Friday, with the second round scheduled to conclude around 9:15 p.m. The top 70 and ties will make the cut and advance through the weekend.
