The Security Commission starts inquiries about Afghan data leakage.

Congress’s information watchers announced that they will begin investigations on major data violations that have damaged the status of thousands of Afghanistan and British military officials.

Data leaks stimulated the superwater volume, which means the intelligence and security committee (ISC), which regularly reviews sensitive data.

Sir Beamish said he should be “immediately” for reviewing all information documents related to this case.

A spokesman for the Ministry of Defense (MOD) said the government strongly welcomed the committee’s investigation into data leaks.

ISC supervises the work of MI5, MI6 and Government Communication Headquarters (GCHQ).

Beamish said in a Monday statement that the Cross Party Group said, “We will conduct an investigation into the role and activities of the information community in relation to data loss.”

The colleague expressed concern about the “serious constitutional problem” previously raised by violation, which was not found for more than a year before the gag order was requested.

In 2013, ISC insisted that data classification is not the basis for withholding information in the committee, considering the purpose of closely investigating the work of the UK information community.

A MOD spokesman said, “We know how to understand how these serious failures have occurred and to see if the previous government has the appropriate responsibility to handle this issue.

“The Ministry of Defense has been instructed by the Secretary of Defense to provide entirely support for the ISC and all councils.

In February 2022, the leak was carelessly sent by an email to a spreadsheet that included more than 30,000 re -settlement applications to individuals outside the government.

Data violations were confirmed only when in August 2023, a man in Afghanistan could identify nine Facebook posts and that government sources could be released as “essentially intimidation.”

The mode applied for a gag order in September 2023 due to the risk of retaliation for about 19,000 Afghans who were found to have worked with British troops in Afghanistan in September 2023.

The High Court has established highly limited super power. This could not even report the presence of a gag order until the judge was ordered last week.

The discovery of data violations has secured the Afghanistan Route (ARR), which has led to about 7,000 people affected by the UK for the expedible cost of about 850 million pounds.

The mode spokesman added that the government would “strongly defend” bidding for legal measures and compensation, and added that it is a “virtual claim.”

It has also been reported that MOD will not provide prevalent rewards to those affected.
