It all started with a simple visit. Brett Henderson, Vice President of Henderson Distribution, part of Hunt Brothers Pizza, the nation’s largest pizza distributor, stopped by our dry storage facility. His inquiry into our cold storage capabilities was the catalyst that opened our eyes to new horizons. We recognized the enormous potential of cold storage and frozen storage, and understood both its complexity and the significant rewards it offered.
Bold moves, big ambitions
True to our spirit, we love to move fast and think big. This vision has come to life with our first We Store Frozen cold storage facility at 2304 Reed Road, Houston, Texas, 77051. Developed and built by Hines, this state-of-the-art 180,000-square-foot facility is strategically located with excellent access to Interstate 288 and close proximity to downtown Houston.
Innovative and customer-centric
Our facility has five rooms of 20,000 square feet each, totaling 100,000 square feet, and is equipped with cutting-edge technology including live cameras, temperature sensors, and AI systems. These innovations allow our customers to monitor inventory and receive real-time data, ensuring peace of mind and operational efficiency.
Amazing growth and success
Before even opening its first freezer, We Store Frozen was 70% sold out and welcomed 65 new customers. This success is a testament to the hard work of VP of Sales Courtney Alison and her dedicated sales team. Strong demand and Houston’s growing economy have brought a variety of customers to our doors, including seven Fortune 500 companies that have made We Store Frozen their preferred partner.
