Meta’s social network Threads is experimenting with a feature that would allow you to schedule posts, Instagram chief Adam Mosseri said.
Users who will be testing this feature will not be able to schedule responses. “We want to strike a balance between encouraging real-time conversation while also giving people more control to plan their Threads posts,” he said.
People participating in the test will see an option to schedule posts in the three-dot menu in the composer. All scheduled posts appear in your Drafts folder, where you can edit or delete them, or change when they are published.

Mosseri said the company has been developing the feature for several months, and that may be true considering app researcher Alessandro Paluzzi posted a few times this year that the upcoming posts feature was in the works.
Earlier this week, Instagram began allowing people to schedule direct messages. For some time, the social network has allowed users to schedule posts for their main feed.
On Tuesday, Mark Zuckerberg said Threads now has over 100 million daily active users and 300 million monthly active users.
