The Michael Bell-trained Wales and West Runner looks like a good place to start, having run with credit in big handicaps at Ascot and Newmarket. He will be a favourite under champion rider Saphie Osborne.
Team Ireland's Akkadian Thunder continued his strong form to win the Doncaster Handicap last month and despite being 3lb higher on the mark, he should be feared in the hands of Billy Loughnane.
Eve Johnson Houghton's Jumby has dropped weight and should be considered for handicap company. He is part of Oisin Murphy's strong ride book.

Saffie Osborne rides one of her favourite horses in the yard, seven-year-old Fantasy Believer, who arrived after his win at Ascot last time out and is rated as a better all-rounder in this race.
Team Ireland King Lear He ran better than his last posted finish. He finished a respectable sixth in a competitive Racing League Week 1 race at Yarmouth and with leading rider Billy Loughnane in the driver's seat, he will be looking to improve further.
