Mercedes’s director Toto Wolf branded RED BULL’s protests in the Canadian Grand Prix “Petty” and “Embarrassment”, but his relative Christian Horner claims that his team has “no regret.”
Red Bull challenged George Russell in Montreal on Sunday, and he insisted that he had stopped driving irregularly and committed a sportsman behind a safe vehicle.
Earlier this season, Red Bull began protest against Russell in Miami ahead of VERSTAPPEN, where Brit took third place in Miami Grand Prix. The claim that Russell was not slow enough under the yellow flag was rejected.
“First of all, it took a racing two hours before Red Bull started protest. Sky Sports In New York when a new F1 movie begins.
“They did it in Miami, now they started two protests, because they were funny, they took it back.
“They came up with strange clauses, what they called them, and I think they should see it because they were rejected.
“As you know, you race, you win, you lose the way. It was a fair victory for us like many in the past. And it is just embarrassing.”
Russell won Mercedes’s first victory in Montreal ahead of the 4th World Champion Max VestAppen of Red Bull.
WOLFF asked if the protests of Red Bull should be disbanded faster.
“One of them was actually pulled by protests and did not follow it because it was ridiculous.
“The second took five hours because we didn’t know that you called ‘sportsmen -like behavior’. What is it about?
“He will not protest such trivial things.”
The protest was the latest twist in a controversial series of events related to VERSTAPPEN and Russell.
The Red Bull driver was punished for causing a conflict with Russell in the round of the 2025 season in Spain, and the incident gained three penalty points in Canada’s ban on race, and some points will continue in the next round of Austria before the license drops.
Russell suggested that it is more advantageous than rivals due to the penalty point situation after defeating VERSTAPPEN in Montreal on Saturday.
VestAppen said in a qualified press conference, “Pi ** ED” in a “childish” opinion on his situation.
The pair also participated in a special war at the finale last season after VERSTAPPEN was punished for an incident related to Russell in Qatar’s entire round.
Horner: Red fire has no regret

“You have the ability to put it in front of the steward, so it’s what we chose. I never regret it.”
Horner added that there is still a long way to go when you ask about VERSTAPPEN’s opportunity to add the fifth world title this season.
DUTCHMAN ranked third in the driver ranking behind the Mclaren pair OSCAR PIASTRI and Lando Norris.
“We are not the peninsula, we have a good weekend in Barcelona. We have won a few times before a few races and can happen as soon as Sunday is proven.
“You just went there. It’s a long championship. We don’t give up and keep fighting until the end. If one person does so, it will be the maximum.”
Russell asked about Montreal’s incident. Sky Sports:
“I don’t know that even Max didn’t know that protest was going, so I don’t know what happened and what they were thinking.
“I didn’t happen in any way, which was a little wasteful of everyone’s time, and the two of the teams missed the plane and everything last night.
“It was a little FAFF for everyone, but now it’s over.
“I really feel good performance. I feel good with the team. Anyone who knows what’s going to happen is getting too close right now.”
