SH Hotels & Resorts' Treehouse hotel brand is set to expand into Australia, with Treehouse Adelaide set to open in 2026.
The 248-room hotel will be part of Market Square, a new mixed-use development in Adelaide’s historic city centre. In addition to the hotel, the $400 million project will also feature office, retail and residential space.
Treehouse Adelaide will feature an all-day restaurant, terrace bar with outdoor seating, lobby lounge, backyard grab-and-go shop, fitness facilities, wellness spa and indoor and outdoor event space.
SH Hotels & Resorts opened its first Treehouse hotel in London in late 2019. Another UK property, Treehouse Manchester, is due to open later this year, and two US properties are also in the pipeline: Treehouse Sunnyvale in Silicon Valley and Treehouse Brickell in Miami.
The SH Hotels & Resorts portfolio also includes the 1 Hotel and Baccarat Hotel brands.
