Donald Trump and Georgia Meloni talked about the possibility of trade transactions between the United States and Europe as Italy visited Washington.
Trump said, “The trade transaction will be 100%, but it will be a fair deal.”
Melony is the first European leader who visited Washington after 20%of tariffs were imported from the block after Trump was imposed.
The US president is convinced that he will do a “good deal with China” on Thursday, adding that the representatives of Beijing have reached “several times.”
Trump and Melony have a good relationship, and the Italian leader hopes to place himself on a bridge between the EU and the United States.
