US President Donald Trump says Mexico does not need to pay tariffs on the goods under the trade agreement between the two countries and Canada by April 2.
Trump did not confirm that suspension is applied to Canada, but the northern neighbor is expecting exemption from “the same personality”, the Canadian government told the BBC.
The recent movement is the second time in Trump’s tariffs in two days.
On Wednesday, he said he would do it temporarily. In the 25%import tax, taxes are charged in one day after the preliminary automobile manufacturer came into effect.
Howard Rootnick, head of the company, said at CNBC that the tariff exemption for the import of auto parts from Canada and Mexico could be expanded to CNBC on Thursday to all products, which are part of the US-Mexico-Canadian contract (USMCA).
