Trump arrives in Milwaukee for Republican National Convention

President Trump is not expected to speak until Thursday night.

One of the most important moments of this meeting will be when he announces his vice presidential nomination.

But as the chaos surrounding the assassination attempt subsides, it is unclear when Trump might announce his running mate or give a speech.

Donald Trump Jr., the son of former President Donald Trump, is expected to speak on Wednesday.

South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, one of Trump's strongest rivals in the Republican primary, was originally expected to skip the National Convention (RNC).

However, following the assassination attempt, it was reported that she would not only attend the meeting but also speak.

Republican firebrand Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia and Arizona Republican Karrie Lake are also scheduled to speak, it was reported.

Speakers also included Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) CEO Dana White, former FOX News anchor Tucker Carlson and Teamsters union president Sean O'Brien.

Lara Trump, the former president's daughter-in-law and co-chairwoman of the Republican National Committee, said this year's speakers include celebrities.

Amber Rose, model, reality star and Kanye West's ex-girlfriend, is expected to address the crowd.

But the Republican establishment's predecessors, including George W. Bush, Mike Pence and Mitt Romney, were not on the guest list.
