A Trump-branded resort is set to open in Oman by December 2028.
The Trump Organization and luxury real estate developer Dar Global are partnering with Oman’s state-owned tourism development arm, Omran Group, to develop a $500 million hotel project that will be part of the AIDA mixed-use complex currently under construction.
The complex, whose first phase is expected to be completed by 2027, will be located approximately 10 minutes from downtown Muscat.
The 140-room Trump International Oman development will feature an 18-hole golf course, a members-only club, a variety of food and beverage outlets, banquet and conference facilities, a spa and a nightlife venue called Cliff Hanging Nightclub.
Guests have free access to the private beach.
Eric Trump, executive vice president of the Trump Organization, said in a statement that the project would signal “a new era of sophistication, impeccable service and exclusivity” while “elevating Oman’s status as a world-class destination.”
The Trump Organization and Dar Global have joined forces on another development in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Details about Trump Tower Jeddah have not been released, but Dar Global CEO Ziad El Char said the property will “leverage the strengths of both organizations to attract more international investors and holidaymakers.”
Both developments come during a period of contraction for the Trump Organization’s hospitality portfolio, which has shrunk from 15 properties in 2015 to just eight today. Most recently, Trump International Hotel Waikiki relaunched as Ka La’i Waikiki Beach and rebranded earlier this year, joining Hilton’s LXR Hotels & Resorts.
