Trump targeted longtime MAGA ally Marjorie Taylor Greene.

President Donald Trump has withdrawn all support for Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, a firebrand conservative who has long supported the president’s agenda but has recently criticized several of his policies.

In a 300-character social media post, President Trump said the Georgia lawmaker had gone “far to the left” and called for her Republican challenger to oust her in next year’s midterm elections.

The falling out comes after Greene questioned whether President Trump still has “America First” as his agenda. She criticized his focus on foreign policy and his handling of the Jeffrey Epstein file.

Greene said President Trump is mounting an onslaught to prevent other Republicans from voting to release the files.

“The only “weird” Marjorie behavior I see is complaining, complaining, complaining!” President Trump posted this Friday night while en route to his home in Florida.

He claimed she betrayed him after she suggested he not run for governor or senator.

“She told a lot of people she was upset that I wasn’t answering the phone anymore,” Trump said. “I can’t answer Lunatic’s yelling calls every day.”

Trump also said voters in his district are “tired of her and her antics” and that “if the right person runs, they will have my complete and unwavering support.”

Trump has long been criticized by both parties for his handling of the U.S. Justice Department’s files related to financier and convicted pedophile Epstein.

Trump has been a friend of Epstein’s for years, but the president said the two had a falling out in the early 2000s, two years before Epstein’s first arrest. Trump has consistently denied any wrongdoing regarding Epstein.

Greene is one of four House Republicans, including Nancy Mace, Lauren Boebert and Thomas Massie, who joined Democrats in signing a dismissal petition demanding the release of the Epstein files.

In response to Trump, Greene posted on

“He’s going after me to make an example to scare all the other Republicans before they vote to release the Epstein files next week,” she said. “The fact that he’s actually going to this level is just amazing how hard he’s fighting to stop the Epstein files from coming out.”

Greene has recently attacked Trump for not doing enough to lower costs for voters and for meddling in diplomatic conflicts and tariff policy.

But she also fiercely criticized his approach to handling the Epstein files.

“I truly stand with women and I think they deserve to be the ones we fight for,” she told the BBC’s U.S. partner CBS News on Friday morning.
