US President Donald Trump met Chinese President Xi Jinping in South Korea on Thursday after months of heightened tensions between the two countries.
This is the first time the two have met face-to-face since the G20 summit in Osaka, Japan in 2019.
The two world leaders shook hands and complimented each other in front of cameras and then had a private conversation for two hours. President Trump praised the meeting with Xi Jinping as a “huge success.”
