Turkiye no longer requires North Americans to obtain a visa to enter the country.
Turkey's Ministry of Culture and Tourism said North American travelers visiting Turkey will not need to purchase an e-Visa, which can be purchased online for $51.50.
The United States joins Canada, Bahrain, Oman, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates among 20 countries whose residents can now visit Turkiye without a visa.
