The new 787-9 Dreamliner of United Airlines is much different in full seats, including two larger business class suits.
There are more premium seats and economic seats on the plane.
United will expect at least 30 new employees Dreamliner at the end of 2027 by the end of 2027, and will provide the first service in 2026. We will connect San Francisco to London and operate Singapore for the first time.
The new business class suite concept called United Polaris Studio will be 25% larger than Standard Polaris seats. Each Dreamliners has eight studios and runs four points at the forefront of two business class rooms.
Polaris Studios includes only extra Ottos that can be used by travel companions, personal information protection statements and 27 -inch TV screens. Suite Perks includes caviar courses, wireless charging and United described as “advanced skin care products.”
With Polaris Studios, Dreamliners will have 56 Standard Polaris Business Suites, 35 Premium Economy Seats, and 33 Economic Seats and Extra Leg Rooms. There are 90 standard economic seats on the plane. In contrast, United’s current Dreamliner configuration is 48 business class seats, 21 premium economic seats, 39 Economy Plus seats and 149 economic seats.
Reconstruction is consistent with the tendency to dedicate more aircraft spaces to high -end premium seats while sacrificing coach seats. For example, American Airlines will provide Dreamliners with a new configuration with flagship suite in June.
But United says there will be 13 -inch screens in economic seats, which will be the world’s largest economy entertainment screen.
Criticism of crew members is prioritized
The Tuesday announcement withdrew the rejection of the union representing the United crew, which criticized the airline, which set priority to the upgrade of the room for the contract negotiations.
“The interior of the new room (when completed by our participation) can help you work, and we want a happy passenger,” said Sara Nelson, chairman of the CWA CWA, and Ken Diaz. “But the new aircraft rooms do not pay rents, they can work without stress on paying the bill, attract new applicants, or provide the schedule control we need for life.”
