President Donald Trump said the United States intercepted an Iranian-flagged cargo ship in the Gulf as part of a naval blockade.
The US president wrote on his Truth Social platform that the Touska was captured by the US Navy after it failed to respond to warnings to stop.
Iran said this was a violation of the ceasefire and that it would soon retaliate for “armed piracy.”
Centcom (US Central Command) released two videos combined into this compilation.
They said one video showed the Iranian vessel receiving a warning before opening fire. The second shows Marines leaving their ship and boarding an Iranian vessel, they said.
