USDA Issues General Alert for Beef and Pork Containing Undeclared Sesame Seeds

USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) has issued a public health alert for raw beef and pork products due to misbranding and undeclared allergens.

Product may contain sesame seed, a known allergen not listed on the product label. A recall has not been requested because the product is no longer available for purchase.

Raw beef and pork items were produced from December 1, 2025 to April 6, 2026. The following products are subject to a public health alert:

There are no confirmed reports of adverse effects from consumption of these products. Anyone concerned about a reaction should contact their health care provider.

FSIS is concerned that some of the products may be in consumers’ refrigerators or freezers. Consumers who have purchased the product in question are advised not to consume the product. These products must be discarded or returned to the place of purchase.
