The FDA just released a report on its 2024 Outbreak Investigation and it shows that vegetables are the most frequent cause of food poisoning.
The Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) annual report details some of the activities of the agency’s Office of Outbreak Coordination Response, Evaluation, and Emergency Preparedness (CORE+EP). This office was established in 2011 during the Obama administration and was part of the largest reorganization of the FDA in 2024 during the Biden administration.
