Venezuelans around the world are celebrating a historic baseball victory after Venezuela won its first-ever World Baseball Classic.
The team beat the United States 3-2 when Eugenio Suárez broke the tie in the top of the ninth inning.
The victory comes at a time of political turmoil in the country after the U.S. government seized Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro in a military strike in January.
