Victoria VR Launches Telegram-Based PvP P2E Game

Victoria VR, a blockchain-based virtual reality (VR) ecosystem and VR-specialized artificial intelligence (AI) developer, has launched VRtap, a new Telegram-based player-versus-player (PvP) play-to-earn (P2E) game.

According to an August 13 announcement from Victoria VR, VRTap is a mobile version of the company’s PvP Arenas. The new game aims to integrate existing VR games with new platforms, allowing more players to compete for VR points.

The new game is a strategic PvP game that utilizes P2E mechanics, connecting realistic VR games with Telegram-based mobile users. Game players can engage in PvP battles and collect resources using multiple characters and champions.

VRTap is built on the principles of the five natural Feng Shui elements, allowing players to master and purchase a variety of champion characters, as well as customize character skins. Then, they can level up their characters to gain new skills that will be useful in future battles. The game also features a task and quest system for more varied gameplay.

The PvP battles built by VRTap allow players to use spells to outwit other users and win. The variety of battles is enhanced by the fact that different champions have different skills, abilities, and passive bonuses, so the gameplay changes depending on which character you use.

Players earn VR points as passive income by playing the game and winning battles or mining resources. Adam Bém, CEO and co-founder of Victoria VR, said:

“With the launch of VRtap, we're bringing a new level of strategic gameplay to mobile devices while also delivering the immersive experiences that VR gaming is known for. (…) By combining the tactical depth of strategic PvP combat with the accessibility of Telegram, we're creating a bridge between mobile and VR gaming.”

Bém explained that Victoria VR hopes the integration between VR and the Telegram ecosystem will allow communities across platforms to engage in new ways. He also hinted at the possibility of “a completely new kind of airdrop that we’ve never seen before” targeting VRTap players.

Victoria VR made headlines in April for integrating AI into games using the OpenAI application programming interface. The integration allowed the company to help users create virtual worlds, games, and apps without any programming knowledge.

Now, players can develop characters and virtual landscapes with simple instructions. Victoria VR also announced plans to expand the capabilities of the image generation system by integrating more AI models, such as DALL-E, Midjourney, and Stable Diffusion.
