VIKING’s Ventures in India are excited: travel every week

The Vikings will add Indian journey to the Liver Cruise portfolio in late 2027, and many travel advisors have applauded.

The brand will launch a 15 -day Indian journey in December 2027, which includes a land tour and an eight -day Brahmaputra river cruise of the 80 -seater Viking Brahmaputra. Already the departure date of the first year of the ship has been sold out.

The Vikings will not run the river cruise for the first time in BRAHMAPUTRA. Brands, including Antara Cruise, headquartered in New Delhi, have sailed there and have recently added a journey to India, where travelers can experience the country through waterways. Viking’s round -trip trip from Delhi includes Taj Mahal, Jaipur, and Kajiranga National Park.

Torstein Hagen, chairman of the Vikings and CEO, said that the Ocean cruise guests already showed their passion for Indian port and that River Cruise would provide a more in -depth experience.

Angela Hughes

Angela Hughes, CEO of Trips & Ships Luxury Travel, said he was not surprised by the expansion of Viking.

“This is not a new concept of India, but it’s a new concept of the American market,” she said.

Hughes said that her company is selling India Land Tour and wants Kang to enter the market. Her customers who visit India usually travel well, visit the bucket list, or seek a destination called “lifest”.

40-Cabin Viking Brahmaputra features a brand of Scandinavia design, rather than reflecting the designs inspired by India. But it is not negative, Hughes said.

“Vikings have built a brand according to consistency,” she said. “Regardless of Danube, Mekong, Nile, you know how it feels.”

Becky Walters

Becky Walters, the finest seller of Vincent Vacations in Oklahoma City, said that reliability and brand familiarity with new destinations will increase customer trust.

“I have a lot of customers who have done all the rivers. They have been doing a lot of sea, have been doing a lot of Vikings, and looking for something else,” she said. “Otherwise, it is a safe bet to go to a place that is not visited.”

She said she is already asking about VIKING’s Indian journey.

Gillian Ever Heart

Viking’s launch is the largest river cruise company that persuades other lines to bring more Americans to India, especially Everhart’s Jillian Everhart in Michigan, who sells India.

It was reversed by Ann Morin of your dream vacation in Florida. Vikings account for about half of the river sales, and the brand’s launch of India offers more opportunities for advisors to sell their country to unstable customers. “I like India,” she said. “I try to go out of their comfort and go to Asia and see a place that I don’t usually go.”

RUDI SCHREINER said Amawaterway has been considering the launch of India for several years. And Avalon Waterways and UniWorld Boutique River Cruises are now chartered vessels in Antara’s Ganges River.

“The Viking’s entry into India seems to send a market verification signal.” “I think that something will happen. The brand thinks how Vikings will work and sit and look at how the Vikings will sit and follow.”

Viji Krishna, Executive Director of India, Rothschild Safaris, said Viji Krishna said that the Viking expansion was not challenged.

Krishna said that Brahmaputra, who runs 1,900 miles through China, India, and Bangladesh, said it was a “mood” river. She previously lived with Brahmaputra and said that even an experienced operator “constantly changed and experienced” could be difficult to explore.

She said the Vikings should manage the operation during the drought and floods. Krishna said that the Ganges River, another major tone in India, said, “easier water.” The Vikings did not respond to the request for the release of India.

Nevertheless, Krishna said that it is easy to be excited to voyage, to be excited to voyage based on the remote destination of the river, and to induce loyal customers to visit India.

“If you go to Brahmaputra and go to the village, it’s a beautiful journey,” she said. “You are sampling and watching India through the eyes of locals. It’s a very attractive journey.”
